The Postgraduate Medical Education Team at Health Education England is a fundamental part of the organisation, taking on the responsibility for the administrative support for recruitment, training, assessment and rotation of doctors and dentists in training across the whole of England, as well as sharing our expertise to support allied health professionals and the regional healthcare providers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a central, specialist business support team, GP Induction & Refresher, within Health Education England based in Midlands
The GP Induction and Refresher team are responsible for facilitating the return to practice for GP's across England. Working to the National GP I&R Officer, this role will be required to provide the day to day administrative support for the scheme.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills which will include emails and telephone correspondence with multiple stakeholders.
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 3 with a full-time starting salary of £18,813, with a pay step increase after 2 years’ service to £21,142
These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditionsand the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
