HEE's Midlands and East local office supports the delivery of HEE’s functions locally through bringing together education providers and health service providers to plan, train and develop the healthcare workforce.

Our objective is to ensure that we have compassionate, knowledgeable and highly skilled people who have the education and training they need to keep the population well and deliver the best possible clinical outcomes for patients. In practice. The primary job purpose is to support the Head of Quality and Commissioning acting as the lead commissioner for healthcare science programmes

Applications are invited for a Healthcare Science Programme Manager post in our Quality team for Health Education Midlands and East team. This is a permanent full-time appointment.

In this role you will be working with senior staff and stakeholders to ensure high quality education delivery. Postholders must have an in depth understanding of, and experience in commissioning, relationship management and performance management of providers. A high level of communication skills and the ability to analyse complex facts and develop a range of options is also key. The role will include regional and national travel

The interviews will be held on 2nd Nov 2017.

This post will be subject to a ‘pooled’ recruitment exercise. The pools that exist are as follows:
