Training Programme Director for Flexible Training: GP01
The context of the role.
Training Programme Directors participate in the local arrangements developed by the Postgraduate Dean to support the management of the specialty training programme(s) within Health Education England (West Midlands HEEWM) or across HEE boundaries
This TPD role is intended to be flexible and includes –
- Role specific functions across all areas of HEEWM.
- Generic Medical Educator activities at a ‘base’ VTS location with added flexibility for cross-cover in other VTS areas.
This role comprises the following elements –
- Delivering Education aligned to HEE and NHS priorities
- Developing an individual portfolio of expertise
- GP School Quality Framework and Assessment roles
This post will be based in the South Birmingham GP VTS area
