We have an exciting opportunity working with the Postgraduate Medical and Dental teams within HEE to support recruitment, plan training programmes, assess and support doctors in training. The teams consist of approximately 150 staff across Midlands and East and the successful individual will need to demonstrate the ability to work across a wide geography in a vibrant environment.

Directly reporting to and working with the Regional Education Business Support Manager to monitor payments and contracts in line with Standing Financial Instructions and organisation Procurement rules. Provide administrative support to PMDE teams across the region with regard to all operational financial transactions. Be the main point of contact and liaise with the Recruitment and Programme Teams to resolve queries.

The team will work to ensure that payments such as Trainer Grants, Educational Supervision and Continued Professional Development amongst others are being made promptly and within the correct financial year. Liaise with Stakeholders when required to resolve queries, highlighting any issues. Work across the teams and assist with implementing new regional processes to streamline the operational financial processes of the organisation. Manage shared inboxes relating to payments responding to incoming queries and provide an excellent customer service. Tracking and logging payments relating to contracts and providing administrative support where required.

The job description offers greater detail about the role, but essentially we are looking for an administrator who can demonstrate the ability to work in a team and adapt to our changing circumstances and deliver the desired outputs.

The post can be based in any of the Midlands and East offices (Birmingham, Leicester or Cambridge) but will be expected to work with all of the Business Managers and teams across the region.
