The Postgraduate Medical and Dental teams within HEE recruit, plan training programmes, assess and support doctors in training. The teams consist of approximately 150 staff across Midlands and East.
Working within the Faculty Support Team the post holder will have a fast paced and varied role within with an opportunity to learn about junior doctors training programmes and associated functions.

The Faculty Support team are responsible for ensuring that the Specialty Schools for each training specialty receive the appropriate support for school board meetings, trainee study leave, organisation of training courses and conferences and to maintain accurate records of educator contact details.

The team work closely with a variety of team members and stakeholders across Midlands and East including Heads of School, Training Programme Directors, Trusts, Trainees and team members across the region to name a few.
There will be opportunity to organise and attend educational events which provide a platform for our external stakeholders to develop their skills and enhance training for our doctors.
There will also be opportunity to be involved with our trainee representatives and help support them to drive exciting and innovative projects in the East of England.

The job description offers greater detail about the role, but essentially we are seeking a person who has good communication skills, ability to take accurate minutes at meetings, good organizational skills and who wants to learn new skills and grow within a friendly and supportive team.
