An exciting opportunity has arisen at Health Education in the Midlands and East  for a  Web  Officer  to work within our IT department  . We are looking for a person with a passion for the web and IT to join our team. The ideal applicant should also have a background in Microsoft technologies in order to help support an IT estate . You will be expected to conduct analysis and investigation of the web applications providing planned enhancements to current services and effective resolution of problems whilst minimising disruption to end-users.

The post-holder will be responsible for web-based publishing activities for the organisation, supporting medical clinicians and administrators to use our web platforms to communicate. They will have a lead role in offering innovative solutions to using the web by providing technical advice and support for web projects and technologies. The role will include maintenance and development of existing websites.
Experience supporting Linux, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript would be beneficial, as would strong analytical skills. You will be expected to communicate effectively with end users and manage support requests

Working as part of the IT team you will have a minimum of three years’ relevant experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
