The HEE Quality and Commissioning Team are looking for an enthusiastic individual with Senior Management experience to join our Senior Team in leading the implementation of the multi-professional Quality Framework across the Midlands and the East of England. Based in the East Midlands office, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of individuals with a functional lead role in quality governance and patient safety. The Senior Quality Lead will play a key role in developing and delivering the infrastructure to enable HEE to deliver the ambitions set out in the recently published HEE Quality Strategy. The post holder will lead a number of workstreams, working across HEE and wider system partners to ensure a smooth transition to HEE’s risk-based approach to managing and improving the quality of education and training. Previous experience in quality assurance and management with some knowledge of commissioning would be an essential component of this role.

The post will require regularly working across the three offices (Birmingham, Leicester and Fulbourn) and additional travel across the Midlands and East geography. The post-holder will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at a senior level. Previous experience of working across multiple stakeholder organisations is also essential.
