Band 8a Performance & Project Management Officer (South - Central)

Health Education England (HEE) oversees the delivery of workforce development and transformation opportunities alongside supporting multi-professional education and training.  HEE supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by working collaboratively with health and social care stakeholders to ensure the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative individual to support the Associate Director of Workforce Planning & Intelligence and the wider senior team to deliver effective performance and project management services.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take lead responsibility for a geographical area across the HEE south region will be essential to support the day to day business requirements for HEE (South). The role covers a range of duties including performance, project management and reporting support, presenting insightful information to help our executive directors, senior managers and key stakeholders make informed business decisions, liaising with appropriate teams across HEE as required.

Relationship building will be an important element of this role and the post holder will be required to develop, implement, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders across HEE.

We are seeking an experienced professional who is keen to make a difference, promote excellence and drive innovation.

The post holder must be able to travel to meet the requirements of the role, including limited travel across local offices within the south region footprint.

This post will be based in our Crawley office.
