HEE supports the delivery of high quality care for patients and high quality public health services by ensuring that the health workforce has the right skills, behaviours and training, and that health care staff are available in the right numbers to meet the needs of the public. It takes on leadership and oversight of healthcare workforce planning and will also be responsible for supporting and authorising Local Education and Training boards. HEE will maintain an effective system for professional education and training as part of a comprehensive health service.
About the role
This position is for a 15 months Fixed term Contract (and will also be considered as a secondment opportunity)
Health Education England is recruiting a Regional Quality and Commissioning Manager (South) on a fixed term basis. Based in one of the local offices, (Crawley, Winchester or Oxford). The post holder will work as one of the Quality and Commissioning Team for Health Education England for the South region, supporting the overall management, development and organisation of the regions quality management, improvement, healthcare education commissioning and performance management programme aligned to the priorities set out within the HEE Mandate.
The post involves a range of complex issues, for example commissioning and quality monitoring and management processes, data handling and collation. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrate positive customer care skills. We are a busy department, so you will need to be able to prioritise work and have excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills and the ability to discern trends from either quantitative or qualitative data.
Interviews will be held on 15 June 2018 for this post.
