Training Programme Director for International GP Recruitment (iGPR)
The context of the role:
Training Programme Directors participate in the local arrangements developed by the Postgraduate Dean to support the management of the specialty training programme(s) within Health Education England (East of England HEE EoE) or across HEE boundaries. These roles can be standalone (0.2 WTE) or undertaken in conjunction with a conventional TPD post.
iGPR role specific job description.
This comprises the following elements –
- International GP Recruitment facilitator
- Facilitated learning in localities and the workplace
- Flexibility and diversity in service delivery
- Supporting International GP Recruits
- Supporting iGPR supervisors
- Liaison with NHSE
There are 6 sessions available, to cover the 6 STP footprints in the East of England.
Successful applicants should indicate how many sessions they are applying for in their application. These sessions can be combined with existing TPD roles.
