An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learner Support and Faculty Development Team, within Health Education England, working across Yorkshire and the Humber. This post is full time, permanent and based at Willow Terrace Road, Leeds.

The post is part of the team supporting various Schools and other work areas within Yorkshire and the Humber. This includes the administration of a number of Generic Skills courses, School meetings and events as well as providing support for the Educational Supervisors e-learning package.

We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational skills to provide a high standard of administrative support to defined Training Programme Directors and other faculty in the delivery of junior doctor and dentist training.

There is some expectation of travelling to the other offices in Yorkshire and Humber and flexibility in the posts working pattern.

The post holder will be expected to exercise personal initiative and independent judgement in an efficient manner and have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all our stakeholders, both internally and externally. It will be expected that this individual will have administrative experience including initiating and maintaining office systems (i.e. word, excel and e-mail, all based on the Office 365 suite).

This role will be an integral member of the Learner Support and Faculty Development team and the post holder will need to demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate multiple work activities, meet deadlines and deal with conflicting priorities.

This is a challenging but highly rewarding role with good opportunities for personal development.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable in order to meet the needs of a changing environment.

Please note that internal applicants ‘at risk’ of redundancy will be given priority consideration, internal applicants will be considered at second stage, followed by all other applicants.
