About the job:

Programme Support Teams are responsible for the coordination and administration of post graduate education and training across a specified area/specialty.

The Programme Support Administrator will provide effective and efficient administrative support to a defined area of Programme Support, working within the North West region of Health Education England (HEE) within specialty schools.

The Administrator is responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team to support the implementation of specific workstreams and team functions
  • Supporting the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service, including secretariat for meetings
  • Coordinating large scale events for medical education panels and administering all relevant paperwork for trainee consultant progression 

The post-holder will work closely with clinical faculty (e.g. Heads of Schools, Training Programme Directors), Business Managers, local education providers, Colleges and other external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of consistent services within Programme Support Management, as aligned to HEE Standard Operating Procedures.

Interviews for this post will take place on 3 January 2020.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 4 with a full-time starting salary of £21,089, with a pay step increase after 3 years’ service to £24,157.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
