An opportunity has arisen within the Senior Leadership Development Programmes Team at the National Leadership Academy for a Programme Coordinator.
The Academy is a flexible, vibrant organisation designed to service the needs of the NHS and our key sponsors in developing expertise in leadership to improve patient experience and outcomes.
This vital work will ensure we continue to attract and develop high calibre individuals in the NHS and develop existing talent.
The Programme Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activity of the senior leadership programmes for the NHS Leadership Academy and supporting learning and development events.
The role is both inward and outward facing, representing the Academy at a national level dealing professionally with a wide range of senior stakeholders and external stakeholders. These include participants, internal colleagues, all local academy staff, our faculty of leadership development practitioners and ALB representatives, and other NHS managers at all levels who are involved in the Programmes.
With the support of the Programme Manager, the post holder will work closely with other directorates of the Academy such as Marketing, Evaluation, Executive Search, Talent Management and Diversity & Inclusion teams to deliver the programmes. This role reports into a Programme Manager who manages one or more of our senior leadership development programmes.
London based with some national travel (particularly to our Head Office in Leeds) including overnight stays. This is a full time permanent role - 37.5 hours per week.
