Health Education England (HEE) supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to work within a team which develops data analysis, data modelling and data transformation products for trainees, trusts, trainers, educators, local and national HEE colleagues, and external NHS partners.
You will work in a team of BI, systems development, and workforce experts, using a variety of technologies including SQL, SSIS, Python, and R, together with visualisation solutions such as Tableau to deliver operational, tactical and strategic business intelligence. You will be using these tools to analyse HEE information, NHS-wide workforce data, and demographic ‘big data’. We are building a new data platform in the Microsoft Azure cloud and you will be proactive is using new technologies to create improved reporting solutions.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to translate complex information into actionable insight, helping senior management track performance, monitor delivery, and plan for the future.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you will work within an agile team and you will be responsible for delivering a combination of bespoke BI projects and highly automated ‘business as usual’ reporting. You will work closely with developers, workforce planners, infrastructure specialists, and business domain experts to create effective, efficient solutions. Our office is in Russell Square in the heart of London.
