We are inviting applications for the post of GP Associate Dean for Quality & Assessment.
It is a pivotal post in delivering both GP Education and the future Primary Care workforce. It is a challenging and rewarding role that requires initiative, innovation and excellent teamworking skills.
The post-holder will be responsible for shaping and delivering assessment processes on behalf of HEE WM. This will include ARCP panels, ARCP training, participating in the appeals process and providing QA feedback to the RCGP and GMC. The role also includes oversight and delivery of GP Training Quality Assurance including VTS scheme and trainer approval and re-approval to align with the HEE Quality Framework.
They will also participate closely in the management of the GP School across HEEWM and in national training initiatives..
Interviews will be held on Friday 9th March at St. Chad's Court. 213 Hagley Road. Birmingham.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
